Hi there. Well as you can read, lately my blog post is all about SNSD. I can hear some of you screaming, where is the anime update? Where is the shoujo-ai update?? Hohoho, don’t worry about that! For today post, I’m going to write some shoujo-ai movie, well I can’t really say shoujo-ai because that word is usually for Japanese anime right? Since this is a movie, lets say LGBT movie🙂, a recommended one from me😉
This is a Thailand movie. The story about two girls in one dorm. One is Pie who dislikes Tom and Kim who is looks like a Tom. Tom is when you are a girl but you look like a boy, and you like a girl too. This Pie is so overprotective on her territory and since she claimed the room first. So yeah, poor Kim.
As they live together in one room, soon some feelings is about to fluttered, hohoho. Yes seriously you have to watch this one! Aom is just so beautifuuuulllllllllllllllllll (yeah, I’m kinda bias to Pie, her real name is Aom)
And if this help, I have watch this movie over and over at least 15 times (Believe it or not!)
“Pie is a sweet girl who moves into a new college dorm room where she finds out that her new roommate Kim, is a tomboy who looks and dress like a boy. As their friendship develops, Pie and Kim begin to wonder if the feeling they feel for one another is just an ordinary friendship or true love.”
Have you meet your so-called soulmate at the first sight? The one that you are really sure that person is the one for you? Even though you already married?
Yes this is what this story about. About Rachel who already married, when she walk through that aisle and get a glimpse of look of her florist, she felt something at that first gaze.
You should watch this one, it has Lena Headey.
“A newlywed bride becomes infatuated with another woman, who questions her sexual orientation, promoting a stir among the bride’s family and friends.”
Starring Ellen DeGeneres and Sharon Stone, this movie will tell us how LGBT in three generation. How each generation accept such things, how to behave, how it feel to live in each generation. *sobs* Yeah the first part really got me sobbing. This movie really can interpret how does it feels when you have been a long time with your lover and one day *bam* it all gone. And over generation, how LGBT seems to be accepted.
“Trio of stories about lesbian couples in three different decades.”
Ok now, who doesn’t know this movie? Or maybe Piper Perabo? Most know Piper I guess. This is an old movie, girls life, school, and maybe a little bit dark. But this is a good movie to watch. Trust me, with genre Drama, Romance and Thriller became one, you have to watch this one!
“A newcomer to a posh girls boarding school discovers that her two senior roommates are lovers.”
Come on, who haven’t watch this? This is the gayest and manly movie I ever seen! Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal, two hot men doing that in a movie, okay now I sound perverted, lol. Plus the actresses, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams. This movie won 3 Oscars, so wow, I think you should brace yourself watch this movie.
“The story of a forbidden and secretive relationship between two cowboys and their lives over the years.”
This is a Swedia movie, but I just watched now and turns out it was so good! And I think I have new fave actress, the one that portrait Frida. Just see the tagline, “With Every Heartbeat”. Ouch. Coming out isn’t always easy, it takes courage and sacrifice, and this movie really tell you that, how accepting yourself first is the very first thing to do, how to brace yourself about anything that’s gonna change after the confession.
“Young woman engaged to be married finds herself in an affair with her stepmother’s lesbian daughter.”
You have a fiancé, you moved to a new place, you want to discover new things, including how you want to do it when *ehm*.
As the title said, this movie around four peoples and how they interact each other.
“Two couples in their twenties, who are struggling to find substance and meaning in their lives and relationships, meet by happenstance in a New York City Irish tavern called The Four-Faced Liar.”
Trust me, I added this film because there’s Emily Blunt in it. For the stories, well, have you felt summer love? This one told you about that, and how not to get serious with that.
“In the Yorkshire countryside, working-class tomboy Mona meets the exotic, pampered Tamsin. Over the summer season, the two young women discover they have much to teach one another, and much to explore together.”
You have Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried in this movie, what else do you expect? This movie is wow. This is about, how marriage over time makes you feel insecure, just because not communicating well. How to trust in each other. How you should pick a right person to mess with. Full of mystery and thriller though. And speaking of Amanda, she has kiss scene with Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body :p
“A doctor hires an escort to seduce her husband, whom she suspects of cheating, though unforeseen events put the family in danger.”
Who has ever known the feel of one side love? This one describe it, well hidden, and kind of creepy. Seriously. But this movie nominated for 4 Oscars, so why not? Plus it has Cate Blanchett, I first know her from Bable I think, or Curious Case of Benjamin Button? And speaking of Cate Blanchett, she has Carol movie this 2015, but I haven’t get the link to watch it. So anyone?
“A veteran high school teacher befriends a younger art teacher, who is having an affair with one of her 15-year-old students. However, her intentions with this new “friend” also go well beyond platonic friendship.”
There goes the first 10 movies I suggest you to watch. Of course there are another great movie that I miss, I have watch but forget to put here, so please comment if you happen to know other LGBT great movie, I will appreciate it! Well, until next post peoples!
